Modelface Comedy Club is a booking/ production company based in Asheville, NC with a focus on producing live stand up comedy. Modelface Comedy is the passion project of Melissa Lauren. While she isn’t a comedian herself, Melissa loves comedy and bringing interesting, diverse and hilarious comedians to Asheville.
Melissa Lauren books and promotes live comedy in Asheville, NC, around the South East and NYC as Modelface Comedy. She runs shows and mics 5+ nights a week and has produced nearly 20 comedy specials, including 'Joyride' with Bobcat Goldthwait and Dana Gould and most recently 'Cult Classic' with Joe Zimmerman.
While Melissa started producing stand up with the Asheville Comedy Festival, she stepped down from the fest years ago, focusing on exciting new projects!
