Modelface Comedy Club brings the best local and touring comedians to Asheville! This week we have Southern favorite Scott Eason in The Cultura Room!

Scott Eason is a comedian (you probably figured that out) from Huntsville, Alabama (you might not have known that) and he knows what you’re thinking…and to answer your question he has no idea why he doesn’t have a southern accent. You might have heard him on SiriusXM and the Comedy Central Roast Battle Podcast.

He’s a regular at clubs across the southeast, including Zanies Nashville, The Laughing Skull in Atlanta, Stand Up Live Huntsville and places you’ve never heard of before. Scott’s performed damn near everywhere: clubs, bars, basements, corporate events and comedy festivals all over the country, such as the Altercation Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival, Flyover Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest and many more.

In 2025 he’s recording his debut album and comedy special with Burn This Records and Four By Three Productions.

He’s also a member of the Beastie Goys, a nationally touring Beastie Boys tribute band. Where does he find the time?!?

Modelface Comedy Club brings the best local and touring comedians to Asheville! This week we have AVL favorite Andrew Rudick in The Cultura Room!

Andrew Rudick is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He has been featured on The Bob and Tom Show, heard regularly on SiriusXM, and guest starred in the comedy pilot “FREELANCE,” which premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.

Rudick recorded a Dry Bar Comedy special slated for release in the fall of 2026, and his Comedy Dynamics special Not A Boy, Not Yet A Man is currently available on Amazon Video. His debut comedy album opened at the top of the Apple Music comedy charts.

Blending Midwestern charm with high-energy absurdism, Rudick’s stand-up consistently connects both on stage and online. His videos have amassed tens of millions of views and earned him over 180,000 followers across social platforms. His relatable, off-kilter style has also landed him an appearance on HGTV’s Design Fails.
He also loves Fleetwood Mac and doesn’t care who knows.

While Hurricane Helene was one of the most horrific and challenging times in all our lives, looking back there were some silly moments too. It wouldn't be Asheville if we didn't find light in the darkness (and we had plenty of darkness, literally)

Modelface Comedy Club brings the best comedians from all over the country to Asheville. We are so excited to welcome back Joe Zimmerman to The Grey Eagle!   

Known for his inventive writing style and playful persona, Joe grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia, and started his comedy career in North Carolina after graduating Davidson College. In 2012, he moved to New York City, which quickly led to appearances on The Late Late Show and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, and his resume has since grown to include The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan on TBS, Last Comic Standing, his own Comedy Central Half Hour.

Joe’s first solo album Smiling at Wolves reached number two on iTunes, and Paste Magazine named him one of 10 best comedians from the south.  His second album, Innocence, is played regularly on Sirius XM radio, and in 2019 he recorded a Dry Bar special with 1.5 million views on YouTube.

His first one-hour special, Cult Classic, came out on Hulu in 2023. It was directed by Nate Bargatze, and The Comedy Bureau called it “one of the best specials of the year”.

Joe is also a writer, having contributed humor pieces to The New Yorker and The New York Times.

He's also voiced for shows like American Dad! and Disney Channel's The Owl House. His sketch group, Dead Kevin, has been featured on Tosh.0 and Comedy Central Digital.

Ryan has done stand up on Last Call with Carson Daly, Adam Devine's House Party, and had a Comedy Central Half Hour which aired in 2018. He partnered with Funny or Die to produce his viral "Overly Excited Tourist" series.

He hosts the live storytelling podcast Sorry Please Continue. He has performed on Moontower, Bird City, Flyover, Big Pine, Fountain City, and Memphis Comedy Festivals, as well as headlining independent shows all over the Midwest and beyond.

Based out of New York City, Trey Galyon started his comedy career in Austin, TX. He quickly became a fixture on the Austin comedy scene and was tapped to work with the likes of – Ron White, George Lopez, Greg Giraldo and Mitch Hedberg to name a few. He was asked to perform at Showtimes Latino Laff Festival 3 years in a row and has also performed at the Philly Fringe Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Skankfest and also a multiple finalist in the ‘Funniest Person in Austin’ Contest. With his odd yet common sensical take on the world around him, the Austin Chronicle called him the 'Anti Hero of Comedy'
Trey moved to NYC in 2008 and has continued to maintain an underground following around the NYC comedy scene. He's not great at writing bio's, but he is a regular on Doug Benson's Doug Loves Movies Podcast and the 'Getting Doug with High' web series. Go see him and be sure to say ‘high’ after the show

Modelface Comedy brings you the best comedians from all over the country. This week we have Caleb Synan from Los Angeles for a NYE show!

Caleb Synan is one of the hottest young comics in the country. (Funny AND good looking!) His unique background as a preacher’s kid from a small southern town gives him the ability to relate to any and every crowd -- even though he’s a big old millennial who lives in LA. Want proof? He’s performed on CONAN (twice!), Last Comic Standing (once!), and his first Comedy Central special “30” in 2022 (You can watch it on YouTube!)

He’s also entertained our troops in South Korea and Japan. What a guy! It’s no wonder he won the title of "Wittiest" in Franklin County High School’s 2009 Yearbook. He even wrote this bio himself. And he’ll have a margarita with you if you play your cards right.

Modelface Comedy Club brings the best local and touring comedians to Asheville! This week we have Denver legend Ben Roy at FBRB!

If you aren't familiar with Ben Roy, he's been taking comedy audiences by storm since 2004, bringing an unparalleled energy and unique voice to the stage. Often compared to Lewis Black or Bill Hicks due to his passionate, ranting approach, Roy has a style that is definitively his own.

Roy cut his comedic teeth in Denver at the world famous Comedy Works. Since then, Ben has been selected to perform at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival (for New Faces, The Nasty Show, and his own hour show), Just For Laughs Toronto, Just For Laughs Chicago, The New York Comedy Festival, Austin’s South by Southwest festival (where he was an official invitee for both music and comedy in the same year), and many more.

Roy has been featured on HBO's Funny as Hell series; as well as on the Comedy Central shows Adam DeVine's House Party, Corporate, @midnight, This Is Not Happening, and TruTV's Talk Show The Game Show. Ben has also released five stand-up comedy albums and was listed as one of Variety's Top 10 Comics to Watch. In 2023 his first streaming stand up special, 'HYENA', was released on YouTube by 800LB Gorilla Media. That same year NPR listed 'HYENA' as one of their Top Specials Of 2023. From that success, 'HYENA' was licensed by HULU and Disney+ and began streaming on their platforms in July of 2024. Ben will be recording his sixth album at the world famous Comedy Works Downtown in January 2026.

Along with fellow Denver Comedians Adam Cayton-Holland and Andrew Orvedahl (who collectively perform as The Grawlix), Ben also created, wrote, and starred in the original comedy series Those Who Can’t that ran for three seasons on TruTV and HBOMax.

He's also currently the host of two podcasts, 97.9 The Rat Race and Advice Fight.

In addition to stand-up comedy, acting, podcasting, and writing, Roy is a prolific musician and the current lead singer of pop punk outfit SPELLS, signed to indie label Snappy Little Numbers Records, and hardcore/metal band Arson Charge, currently signed to Anxious & Angry Records.
