Modelface Comedy brings the best comedians from all over the country to Asheville, NC. This weekend we have Casey Balsham and Robby Slowik from NYC!!!
Casey Balsham is a stand up comedian living and breathing in New York City. You’ve seen her at various club all over the country and as a regular at New York Comedy Club and Gotham. You’ve heard her as the host of the Shady Shit Podcast on Dear Media. Casey has also been featured on Gotham Comedy Live, Lifetime, Tidal’s No Small Talk Series and in a Monistat commercial you can only find online.
Her debut album “Son of a Barb” hit number one on the iTunes charts and can be streamed on Spotify and Pandora.
She recently wrote and starred in a one woman show called “Casey Balsham Does a Thing” and was the lead in the off Broadway musical, HA! In between Instagram breaks, Casey is working on her second solo show and writing a musical with her writing partner, Bradley Beahan.
She hopes to keep adding credits to and rewriting her bio until the end of time.
Robby Slowik is a Standup Comic, TV Writer, and Podcast Host based in New York City. He has written for Schulz Saves America, the Roast of Tom Brady, and The Problem with Jon Stewart on AppleTV+ where he appeared regularly as a correspondent on the podcast of the same name.
Robby has performed stand-up on Conan (TV!) and his album, Live Near Carnegie Hall (Available to stream wherever you do your streaming) plays frequently on SiriusXM. He performs regularly in New York City and headlines across the country.

Holly Ballantine is a literal train wreck who has been charming audiences across the country with her hilarious stories of motherhood, marriage, and near death experiences since the day Chris Rock told her she was funny. She is based in Atlanta, Georgia where she co-produces West End Comedy Festival and Hissy Fit Comedy. She is a weekend regular at the Punchline and Laughing Skull Lounge where she was the April 2022 resident. Holly has opened for Tim Meadows, Rachel Feinstein, Jessica Kirson, Geoffrey Asmus, and many other touring comics. She frequently tours with Moms Unhinged, a group of stand up comics (and moms) who have been selling out clubs and theatres across the country. Her writing has been featured on Buzzfeed, Netflix Family, The Chive, HuffPost and the Washington Post. She does not hold grudges, but has a spreadsheet of everyone who owes her favors.

Zak Toscani is a standup comedian and writer living in Los Angeles, CA. He started comedy in Portland but it has since taken him across the country and around the world. Zak has performed at the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and the The High Plains Comedy Festival.
With a focus on originality and vulnerability, Zak’s comedy has been highlighted by Splitsider, Paste, and The Portland Mercury. He is also the most reoccurring guest on the hit comedy podcast All Fantasy Everything.

Will Abeles has been a nationally touring comedian, podcaster and producer for over 15 years. Known as The Pride of Hagerstown, Will honed his craft in New York City and Los Angeles while working for such television shows as The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Academy Awards. His debut comedy album “Regrets of My Father” debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts in December of 2017. Now known as “The Pride of Hagerstown,” Will moved to Nashville in January of 2021 and by October was voted the third best comedian in Nashville by the Nashville Scene behind Nate Bargatze. Known for his storytelling and ridiculous antics, Will taped his first comedy special at the historic 5 Spot in Nashville.
