Getaway Comedy: Sally Brooks

Sally Brooks is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, writer and podcaster whose personal stories of misadventure and fun-loving, smart-assed nature were honed in the back rooms of bars in Cincinnati, Ohio and now make her a favorite at the top clubs and colleges across the country. She is the cohost of Dumb Love, a comedy podcast about the dumb things people will do for love. Her album, "Brooks Was Here" was released by Rooftop Comedy and debuted at the top of the iTunes Comedy charts. According to Pandora Radio "Sally Brooks unleashes a relentless wit on her debut album." The Laugh Button said she is "one of the hardest working comics in the business" and Axs.com called her a "rising star."

Sally has appeared on NBC's SeeSo, the Bob & Tom Show, SIRUS/XM and Audible's Limelight. She had a residency with the PIT Presents at the Peoples' Improv Theater in NYC and has been invited to perform at many festivals including Limestone, Laughing Skull, the New York Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy, and Gilda's LaughFest. Sally is the creator of the popular Suzy Jenkins web series, which served as an inspiration for the HULU show "Mother UP!".
