The Queer Comedy Party is a night celebrating many of the talented queer comedians in Asheville and all over the country. All the performers are queer identifying but the audience doesn't have to be. This month's headliner is Shawna Jarrett!!

Shawna Jarrett is the lead comic on the Charleston Comedy Bus, writes/produces sketch comedy, and hosts the monthly Get Up! Comedy Night at Tin Roof. She was nominated for 2018 Best Local Comic in the Charleston City Paper Best-Of awards and is featured in shows across the southeast. Her material includes such topics as businesses housed in former Pizza Huts, Venn diagrams, and her home state of Florida. If you grew up in Charleston, there is a 60% chance you’ve bought drugs in her neighborhood at some point.
