This month's Queer Comedy Party stars Kendall Farrell!
Kendall Farrell is a New York City based standup comedian from Vermont. He was named a ‘Comic To Watch’ at the 2019 New York Comedy Festival and will headline Caroline’s as part of their Breakout Artist series in 2020. His work has been heard on SiriusXM as well as seen in web content for Adult Swim and at comedy festivals across the country including the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, the Red Clay Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, the 10,000 Laughs Festival, the Rogue Island Comedy Festival, and the Cream City Comedy Festival, among others.

Joe Zimmerman grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia, and started his comedy career in North Carolina. While living in the South, his stand-up group the Beards of Comedy landed a record deal with Comedy Central Records. He moved to New York City in 2012, quickly appearing on The Late Late Show and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, as well as performing at Montreal’s prestigious Just for Laughs festival. His resume has since grown to include The Tonight Show, Conan, Nickelodeon, Last Comic Standing, and his own Comedy Central Half Hour. Joe’s solo album Smiling at Wolves reached number two on the iTunes comedy charts and is played regularly on SiriusXM. (His second, Innocence, is due this summer on Comedy Central Records.) He has also contributed humor pieces to The New York Times.
Joe’s new podcast, “A Great Listening Experience” details his questionable attempts to attain infinite knowledge and power. Among his many podcast & radio appearances, he has recently appeared on 2 Dope Queens, The Dork Forest, Bob & Tom, The Todd Barry Podcast, and The Artie Lange Show. Joe is frequently touring, headlining clubs around the country, and occasionally opening for super stars Brian Regan and Ricky Gervais.

The Comedy Show will see the historic YMI Cultural Center expand its program offerings to include a monthly night of gut-wrenching laughter. Presented in partnership with JAWBREAKING.xyz and Modelface Comedy & Events, A Comedy Show will be a night of comedy on the YMI's main stage, featuring rising comedy stars from all over the country.
February's show will be hosted by Asheville comic Petey Smith-McDowell and feature Tiffany Anderson, Kourtlyn Wiggins and Comedy Central's Mia Jackson.
Mia Jackson is a bonafide Georgia peach (that's Georgian for “native”) and self proclaimed know-it-all. After graduating from the University of Georgia she hit the local comedy scene and has thrilled audiences since day one. To her credit she has appeared on NickMom's Night Out, Viceland and was a semi-finalist on Season 9 of NBC's Last Comic Standing. She has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer and the movie Mother's Day. In 2017, she was named a New Face at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and Atlanta's Creative Loafing named her the city's Best Stand-Up. Her Comedy Central Half Hour special premiered this past fall. Smart, funny, and versatile, Mia entertains all types of crowds.

The Show With Two Heads comes to town, featuring Bobcat Goldthwait of Police Academy fame, who has since gained acclaim as the director of such dark comedies as World’s Greatest Dad and God Bless America. Comparably impressive is the second comedic head, Dana Gould, who’s penned multiple episodes of “The Simpsons” and created the IFC comedy/horror series “Stan Against Evil.”

Andrew George a New York based comedian, actor, and writer. Standup comedy is the only thing Andrew really cares about. He spent his 20's working full time at a comedy club in exchange for stage time, but now he's in his 30's and he's hitting the road with his dumb jokes and wildly specific stories.
You've seen him in the movie American Dirtbags (now streaming for free on Amazon Prime), a series of commercials for the Atlanta Hawks, R. Kelly's 'Happy Birthday' music video (long story), and festivals like Red Clay, SweetWater 420, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Resurgens Fest, and Accidental Comedy Festival.
When he isn't traveling and meeting people he can make fun of later on stage, you can catch him at Hotel Red Lion in Brooklyn, where he hosts his standup based gameshow, "Comedy Clubhouse" every other Thursday

Comedy Clubhouse is an improvised stand up comedy show, hosted by Andrew George and Bob Place, featuring 10 of the quickest witted comedians around.
This show is not for the shy, as crowd interaction is not only encouraged, but mandatory! Comedy Clubhouse has been described as the "Ninja Warrior Course of Comedy" by past performers.
Comedians must to do 4 things in 1 set:
- Answer the Question of the Week
- Prepared Material
- Crowd Work
- Respond to a topic from "The Wheel"
The hosts remain on stage the entire time to interject with jokes as the comics come up with new material on the spot. If you're brave enough to do a set, test your luck by putting your name in the bucket. If that sounds a bit confusing, don't worry, that's half the fun!

Pedro is a Colombian American comedian. He immigrated to the U.S. as a teenager and started to do comedy soon after he started to speak English. He's risen through the ranks of New York comedians and was selected as a Finalist of the New York's Funniest Comedy Competition in 2018, and in 2019 was selected as a Finalist of the Stand Up NBC national comedian search, and in the same year filmed his TV debut on the Late Night with Stephen Colbert show.
